Rock Krawler wedge question
Actually I don't remember having to disconnect the TB. I don't remember doing that. But I also had to remove wheels/tires to allow the axle assy to droop far enough down to pop out the springs.

Last time I messed with my rear springs I had to use jack stands to support the vehicle. If you are using stands then you need to remove the rear wheels. If you are on a lift then you can leave the wheels on. After that:
Disconnect swaybar links
Disconnect brakelines from frame so they can droop
Disconnect shocks from axle
And in my case disconnect spring retainers.
Depending in which control arms you have you might have to loosen them a bit if the above doesn't get you there. I had to loosen mine, but I am using stock arms.

When you lift the Jeep the coils will have a arch like this ) and when the spring wedge is in there it will straighten the spring out like this l
All you should have to do is take the shock off. I put jack stands under the frame and then drop the axle down. I took out my springs to make it easier so i wouldnt have to wrestle with holding the spring while putting the wedge in. It should take no longer than an hour to install.
