Default Rocker Guards with side step functionality

Okay I'm sure this question has been asked a few times before so here it is again. I'm looking for some rocker guards for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that has sidestep functionality. My wife is little shorter and likes the sidestep plus I have to carry my parents around sometimes as well and its hard for them to get in and out the Jeep. Right now I have no preference because I'm not sure what is out there that will fit my needs.

how much lift do you have? what's your budget...you'll also want to get some grab handles, even with a slider that can act as a step they'll need something to grab ahold of to pull up.

are you parents pretty nimble?

I'm running the Smitty Rock Crawler Side Armor, serves well as a step and it's take hits on the rocks just fine...a little touch up paint and all good. Also have grab handles and they get used.

Another alternative is Rock Slide Engineering - these are pretty cool...saw them in action at EJS, they did take abuse wheeling and still worked...

I had the same problem, jeep came with factory steps, I lifted it 3" and went up a couple of sizes to 285/70/17's

So I went with the Ace rock sliders which serve pretty good as steps

My wife likes them and my mom who's really short is ok with them too

The only picture I have handy doesn't really show the rock rails depth, they are two tubes wide/deep, close enough to form a good footing

Goto Acejeep.com for better pictures

Check out Shrockworks! I love mine! The wife and kids use them to get in and out with no problem.

I have the GenRight sliders. They work really well in the rocks and also give a step for my lady and daughter. They are pricey but well worth every penny!! They have taken some pretty hard hits on rocks and have held up great!!!

Another vote for LoD. They have an actual step integrated. And they are really solid.
