I remember having some issues with that too. I got one in, but ended up leaving one out. Later after relocating the muffler, I took another look at it and easily got the other bolt in. The muffler is a real PITA to work around with those.

I had no issues with mine when I did the install. It did take some time to get it lined up right, however I didn't need to drill out the holes any larger. I can say that I'm very happy with this bumper and that it is one strong SOB. I have bashed the hell out of that thing and really no damage to speak of. I can say that I have a slight rattle in the tire carrier when I hit a large bump or pot hole, other than that its a great bumper. Good luck with your install, and if your like me when you start getting pissed step back and take a break and have a cold one then try again.

Default Crazy idea

Here's a crazy idea, call Rock Hard 4x4. Usually the owner answers and he's really knowledgeable and usually pretty helpful in matters regarding his product.

ALL IS GOOD..... I took the bumper back off and put all the bolts through. had to realign the brackets that go into frame as they would not line up either. I also had to drill out both center holes ... alot.....and both side holes a little.....

love the look and the quality is high.... I guess maybe mine was built on frday at 4:59

all done and happy again!!!!

Ha! I had a heck of the time with that bumper. Took several tries and half the day, but I got it on and all the bolts in. Now if I can just get the tire carrier to stop rattling. :
