Default Rough Country 2.5 inch lift

I was thinking about going ahead and putting a 2.5in lift on the Jeep with still the stock wheels and tires. The tires are 255/75r17 Goodyear Wranglers. I was wondering if this would look stupid? I don't have the money yet to put wheels, tires, and lift. I was going to go with the lift and wait till those tires are done and then get Wheels and tires. How do you all think this would look? Will it be ok for a year or so?

I don't think it will look too too bad, I'd atleast throw some wheel spacers on there though. My first lift way 1 3/4" with same size tires, tollerable but did make me hurry to go bigger tire wise.

I have the Tera flex 2.5 coil lift stock sport wheels as tires still. I don't think it looks that bad. Trying to save up for tires.

No worries. Most of us run 1.5" aluminum spacers. 1" would look good too. If you to get wheel spacers, just be sure they are described as 'hub-centric'.

I never put wheel spacers on after my lift. Haven't had any problems knock on wood. I'm getting a set though.
