Default Rough Country 2.5" Max Flex Setup

So let me start off by saying i have a 2.5in spacer lift from rough country. i had just recently busted one of my front shock and decided to upgrade. i was looking to get the most flex out of my current set up just adding new shocks. here is where im at now with the front ONLY. i got shocks from 4WHEELPARTS i only bought the front two for about $37.99 each.
Softride Hydro Shock by Skyjacker
Part Number: SKYH7075
2007-11 JK Wrangler, Rubicon and Unlimited with 6" lift, front (I HAVE A 2.5" SPACER LIFT)
Collapsed length (in.): 15.56
Extended length (in.): 26.750
Shock stroke (in.): 11.20
i wanted to get the OME LT shocks but lets just say they weren't $37.99. i wanted to get shocks that were easy on the wallet and have similar lenghts as the OME LT shocks (Collapsed length (in.): 16" Extended length (in.): 27.50")
here are a couple of pics. im pretty sure im missing some details. after i installed the shocks i went to go test the flex. hoping i didnt need some new brake lines or hoping not to add bumpstops (wich would equal less flex) here is what i saw. i couldnt really take my time and inspect every little detail because my 1.5 year old son started crying. here is what i saw. now when i looked at the bump stop that was stuffed or copressed i noticed that is was fully compressed and the shock was fully compressed as well there was no shiney rod expossed. thats when i started to wonder HOW MUCH MORE CAN THE YELLOW BUMPSTOP COMPRESS/CRUSH OR WAS THAT IT. the next day i decided to remove the coil and remove the lower shock bolt to see where i was. when i lowered the frame without the coil i saw that the hole for the bolt on the shock was 1/2inch lower than the hole on the frame for the bolt. it was then when i knew that i needed to add bump stop. i decided to remove the rubber bushings from the stock shocks and glue them with my PINK GLUE GUN to the yellow bump stop they measured about 9/16ths. uh my brain is frying right now. more pics so you can see what im talking about.

i could have used my 2inch body lift pucks and cut them down to size but figured that the rubber bushings from the stock shocks were a perfect size. IF YOU HAVE A 2.5IN ROUGH COUNTY BB AND WANT TO PUSH THE LIMITS OF THE SET UP THIS MIGHT BE THE WAY TO GO. ok peeps let me know where i went wrong. and trust me i know i messed up using a pink hot glue gun

If you use the brackets provided with the kit on the front and rear it will be just fine. This si the setup I use and with the swaybar disconected and full flex the brack line is fine. Just go a little at a time and check it.
