After about 4 or 5 days of driving I finally broke down an placed my order for a JKS adjustable front track bar. I noticed that the axle shift on my Jeep is actually a lot. My passenger front coil is fractions of a inch away from the frame, while my front driver's coil has enough distance between the frame to more clear my whole hand.

After a few days of pondering it I came to the conclusion that I just didn't feel comfortable with that much shift.

How do you keep the underside of your Jeep so clean?

Those trail grapplers are SICK! I actually just got the same bumper, came in today (stubby though). I hope my 32's don't look tiny after the lift. Don't have the money for 35s at the moment... Hopefully Soon!!

Nice looking lifts on the Jeeps.

Are any of you also changing out the front drive shaft?

Thanks

From information i have gathered, you will need to address drive shafts if you have a 4" lift or more. The front drive shaft will be needed if you have an auto, and the rear if you have a 2 door. Anything 6" or over you will need new drive shafts regardless. So being that this is under a 4" lift and I have a 4 door and a 6spd, i am not going to change either drive shaft. This is what i had gathered through my research, so correct me if i am wrong.

Thanks for the response on the drive shafts.

I have a four door Rubicon.

The reason I asked, I spoke to two vendors. They advised me I should buy the drive shafts with a 3" Teraflex lift kit. I was thinking it is more money in their pocket and it is an upgrade I really don't need. I'm glad I asked.

Regards,
