Default rough country or rustys????

Looking into getting either the rough country 2.5 lift or the Rusty's 2.5 lift. I know both kits are on the cheap side but here in deep south Texas their isn't much of anything so I don't need anything big but what I'm wanting to know is the ride quality on either set up or any other 2.5 lift that anyone else is using and would like to put their 2 cents worth.

I have the Rusty's 3.25" kit and it rides about like it did stock. I feel the Rusty's products are higher quality than RC. Just my opinion...

I would go with Rusty's over Rough Country. I had the 2" coils on my '07 and '08 JK's and they rode great on road and did great off road too. But if I had the $$$ I would have OME 2" on my Jeep. Waiting for the tax refund.....

I'v got a Rusty's 2'' coil spring lift and love it. It rides great and gave me slightly more then advertised lift (2.5''). I have recently noticed that one shock bushing is wallowing out and needs replacing, but overall a great lift and I would go with it again.

i helped a buddy install a 4" Rough Country lift last summer. i helped him again REMOVE the lift last month...he's never been happier. he now has a trailmaster 4.5". the RC springs werent supportive enough, kept failing and were very weak.

i will say RC was quick about sending replacement springs, however, after two sets of replacements and the same problems each time...it was time to say bye-bye to Rough Country.

I have been running my rough country 2.5 coil with the new edition shocks (2.5 edition?)
I must say coming from a teraflex lift, I am impressed with the comfort of this ride!

I had a RC 2.5" and the ride is "rough"....though I've never had Rusty's, I'd say from a lot of reviews and personal experience with RC that you'd be happier with Rusty's!

I didn't want to accept the advice of "do it right the first time" and I went cheap...now I am removing it and putting on a Rock Krawler and from what I have seen, I should've listened and done this the first time! But, hey, some of us have to find out on our own!

Good luck with the decision.
