Default Rubicon ujoint fiasco

I’m trying to change the u joint in my ‘11 Rubicon, however I’m having trouble finding the proper joint. I have the updated shafts as far as I know, as they were updated under warranty a few years ago.
The new joint I have visually appears to be the same size as the one I’m replacing, but when I try to put it in it will not go past the ears on the yolk. It’s like it’s a mm to big, maybe less.
The numbers on the stub shaft are 2014615, and the new joint I have is a Spicer joint part #5-7166x.
Can anyone sort me out with a part number that will work?
