Rugged ridge jk windshield mount light bar wind noise

Default Rugged ridge jk windshield mount light bar wind noise

Sorry if this is in the wrong area....

I have the RUGGED RIDGE JK WINDSHIELD MOUNT LIGHT BAR
with 5 hella 500s on it....

Does anyone one else have issues with excessive wind noise, after instal?

Mine is to the point i am thinking about removing it already...

I installed one of those to carry my canoe. I couldn't agree more with you. The noise is ridiculous. I only add the "top" piece when I am hauling the canoe. If I remember correctly Rugged Ridge advertised this light bar as quiet and with no wind buffeting due to the deflector welded in there. Total Bullshit.

if i didnt spend all day putting the dam thing together, i think i would try and send it back....it looks great but it is terrible for wind.
anyone have any ideas out there to help reduce the wind?

Mine doesn't make a sound granted i don't have lights mounted on it yet. So maybe thats what you hear , the wind whistling between the lights.

I have one and it is quiet . No noise at all.
