Honestly man, every bumper I've owned for all my jeeps got chips and rust spots pretty quickly. Last one I got was brand new, set in my garage for about a month and had spots on it. I know it's kinda crappy, but I think the metal for powdercoating nowadays is either not prepped good or it's that textured powdercoat thats not all that great. Either way, it's easily remedied with some duplicolor or 3m undercoating or bedliner type of paint. I know it SHOULDN'T be this way, but I think it may just be the nature of the beast.

My mopar rear bumper has surface rust spots too. Never hit anything, scratched, etc. I think its due to all the moisture where I live and the spots are where standing water accumulates. I'll remove the whole thing this spring, grind it clean, and coat it in herculiner. @ least then It'll be color matched to the shrockworks front one

I just installed my new LoD shorty front bumper and since I can't afford a winch right now there is a big hole in the middle of the bumper.

So far I have come up with maybe a tow strap or an ammo bobox bolted in for extra storage, or a couple of 12 packs of soda and a sandwich.

Any thoughts?

Justa hunch! lol

not to be a E stalker hahahaha

Just to chime in: I always have a rattle can of black rustoleum in the Jeep, for quick touch ups. It ain't paint shop quality, but hey.......

is it a warn? i have warm bumper and they are notorious for flaking. why even bother if u wont tell us the name. i said mine. this is how we help each other out by knowing what is good and what is crap.

plus if u had sdaid it was warn, i could have told u the policy on it and u could have had a new bumper. as long as u dont just start bashing a company, just say the name even if its a sponsor on here. nothing can be fixed if no one knows the brand
