I have 3 years on my rusty lift with 42k miles and I won't even try counting the number of off road trips they have gone through. They are stout stuff

And what would that bad thing be?

Someone might have answered this but I jumped straight to the end; the shipping will kill you with Rusty's. I noticed this today. I was about to pull the trigger on a lift from them until I saw they wanted 140 bucks for shipping!! Are you kidding, that's 4 times what it really costs to ship. They mark there prices down but get it right back by charging a stupid amount for shipping.

Try this..goto there website and add 4 shock boots to your cart, go thru till you get to shipping...how much do you think it should cost to ship something that weights less than 1lbs...about 10 bucks UPS right...they are charging 26 dollars to ship it!! I decided to order my stuff thru David at Northridge. It's your call.

This man tells the truth! Haha...I totally forgot about this. Shipping was $125 but I did get 3 heavy boxes with the lift and then a large box with the 2 trackbars. It couldn't have cost less than like $80 to truly ship. Still, it's hard to beat coils, springs and TWO trackbars for $675 which was my cost shipped.

BUT, when I looked into extended swaybar links, they wanted $24 to ship those things. RIDICULOUS! I ended up getting them from Dave at Northridge. Might have been the same price but they are adjustable and I don't feel like he's gouging on shipping.

Im sorry. I mean I cant say anything bad. I have put of 3 or 4 different rustys lifes on mine and other friends jeeps. The shipping high, but they are so much cheaper that I still like it. I like the fact that their 3.25 inch lift comes with trac bars and is still cheaper than other with crap brackets.

Just messing with you, I knew what you meant. It just sounded funny...

Most who have the Rusty stuff swear by the quality. Too bad they do the shipping cost gouging thing. I can't figure out why most internet companies charge so much for shipping, it doesn't cost them near what they charge. Then you have a lot of places, like Northridge, that don't charge anything...I know they have some costs built into their pricing, but it brings in a lot of business when you ship for 'free'.

It's just a more honest way of doing business. When you gouge on shipping it's like pulling a bait and switch on your customers.

I agree. JK Sport lives close to me with a Rusty's 3.25" on his rig and it seems to be doing good for him. I just can't get over the shipping cost.

David at northridge and I had a long discussion about the quality of Rusty's stuff. The only thing bad he had to say about it was that they track bars have poly bushings. He said they will start to squeak over time. I can't challenge that statment because I don't have their equipment, but I ended up ordering my lift from David.

With shipping from Rusty's I would have paid 690...i spent less than that thru David when it was all said and done and got the same parts. Each to his own, but when Rusty's wants to charge me 26 dollars to ship rubber shock boots that weigh less than 1lb ...forget it..
