I know I'm reviving a month-old thread here, but man that is some good info and I love the way your rails look. I have a white JK and will definitely consider doing the rails now.

I've got a Trektop and a hardtop. Has anyone lined the tub edge and used it with a hardtop (specifically with line-x)? I bet it would be ok... But I am a little worried about that part. I guess I'm going to have to find a "needle gun" to take off my insulation. I don't think I could stand to look at it under all the pretty (read: expensive) line-x.

I did this myself and it cost me $100, and I had a bunch left over. Did the grill, bumper, entry area, and a bug guardClick image for larger version
