Default Shift point issues......... Maybe?

Ok guys here's the skinny. I run an auto rubi unlimited with a 3.25 lift, 35's, and 5.38 gears. I used the ProCal tuner to set the gear ratio and tire size and now I have a shiftpoint problem (I think). If the rpms drop to around 1200 rpm in 3rd and 4th I have no power to accelerate......... DUH! is right but I don't think ole girl is downshifting like she should. It sounds and feels like it does when you miss a gear or shift too soon on a manual transmission. Shouldn't she downshift on her own if the shift points are right? Anyone else experience this? Is there another possibility? Am I resigned to press the accelerator harder to make it change gears? Thanks

I have had the same problem for a while. I know a few guys have been using the Superchips Flashpaq to manually determine the RPM at which the auto tranny shifts, with apparently good results. I believe is a $40 upgrade, if you have one. I am unsure if the Procal gives you this option or not. Jpop was the guy running the thread on this..maybe it can help. Also, the torque converter is funny on a lot of the autos. I can't be of any direct assistance, as I have RIPP and it is what it is fro me and the tranny shift points for right now.
