Default Shocks

My problem is on my new 2008 jk that is lifted 2.5" the bushings on the bottom of shocks keep falling out. Any body else have this problem?

We need a little more info. Are they your factory shocks? If not, then what brand. Do you have Rubicon Express shocks? If so, then you were supposed to use the steel sleeve from your factory shocks on the front.

They are sky jacker shocks . Just the rear shocks have this prblem so far. I have about 4000 miles on the lift kit.

Do you have a picture? I'm having a hard time visualizing the bushings "falling out," as I would think that both the rubber bushing and the metal sleeve are compression fit into the axle mounts when tightened down with the bolt. Is it that the metal retainer that is over the whole bushing is moving around loosely? If so, you may just want to contact skyjacker to get a new shock(s).

I believe that someone had mentioned an issue with their bushings, and that Sky Jacker actually recalled them to correct the problem.
