Factory siping isn't that big a deal. My local Discount Tire in Colorado charged $8 to sipe my bighorns, don't imagine it would be too difficult to find a shop in Canada to do it, if it is even wanted.

But yeah, for that kind of savings, go for it. Then post a review, lots of people here are interested in lower priced options.
