Show me how your front bumpers mount

Since I just finished my rear bumper/tire carrier , I'm planning/designing a front to match.

I'd like to see some pics of how your aftermarket front bumpers attach to the frame. The ones like Pure Jeep are obvious because the bolts go all the way through, but I'm interested in seeing the brackets from the backside of bmpers such as LOD and Shrockworks and others.

also, I'm curious how mounting the bumper this way will affect my approach angle, sincethe bumper will have to be spaced out a little for the bolt heads not to show, unlike the P.J. ones that are flush to the frame ends. Can anybody who has custom bumpers post the measurement from the bottom of the grille to the front of the bumper. I measured my stock one and I think it's like 11-1/4", and I think that's to the front of the crush cans. The more measurements you guys can post, the better.

Thanks. :D

I have 3/16in plate cut to 6.5" tall and drilled. This will be the face of the bumper. I then bent the ends to my desired angle. For the measurement from the front to the grill i will be going somewhere in the 8-9in range. That number you have is pretty long becasue there is a lot of material in those plastic bumpers and cans.
I too have asked fo pics and numbers for this, but people must b reluctant to give it out.

Anybody else? I know it's Sunday, so it may be a day or 2 before many people read this.

That's a good looking start. Looks like you mind wind up with something similar to the Pure Jeep one.
