On the LED lights the black needs to go to the 12v positive and the white to ground or negative. They won't work if you reverse the polarity. I don't know which is which on the original marker light wiring. You need to use a meter to tell or just hook them up temporarily and test before making a permanent connection.

I haven't removed the current signals yet but I do see that there is a plug connector behind the rocker panel, though I am not the most skilled at wiring. Should I just cut the current light off at a given point, insert the grommets (after boring), wire the lights through the grommets to the cut ends from where the old lights were, solder, heat-shrink and go.

Also.. it looks like the 3/4" LED's have 2 wires (assuming black and white). Is it pretty self-explanatory as to which/how these wires get soldered? Is there a black and white wire when I cut off the existing light or are the jeep wires colored differently?

Thanks Eric. Just grabbed these from you guys.

Thanks again for all the help.
Correct, there is a white & black for positive/negative. The factory side marker wiring is also two wires, one will be black (negative) and the other is a combination of two colors for schematic reasons.

Your order shipped out this morning, thank you for your business

Just drilled a couple starter holes and put some screws into it. Holds up nicely

I plan on using a unibit or drillbit then installing a round led I purchased from O'Rielly's.

I overkilled mine a little with amber KC Cyclones. they looked good and worked as rock lights, but the MPs on base didn't like them so I converted them to just blinkers. I'm probably just going to run down to Tractor Supply and get some small amber leds to regain the function of the markers.

I used the stock one for a while then switched to a 3/4" led on ebay. For the stock one just drill out a hole on the turn signal and attach to a bolt near the front underneath the wheel well.
