LoD sliders work great in the rocks and double as a step.

I have the Smittybilt Classic SRC. They are like a Rubi rail with a tube step welded on. They actually assist in keeping rocks away from the body and "pivots" me around obstacles. Works great as a step and protection.

Saving for these ones, a little pricier than most but I think overall one of the best choices available. Now I just need to figure out a way to get them on my Xmas list :brows:

I just bought those same ones for those reasons exactly.

They are really nice, where and how much are they?

The OR Fab Rock sliders/Guards are good as well. I was looking for the same thing. They've worked great so far.. and provide a pretty good step. Unfortunately they're kinda pricey.

I'll be getting these once the upgrade gods shine upon me again. Pricey? I think they are the same or less than any other sliders out there. OR-Fab is quality and service is TOP NOTCH. Can't say enough good stuff about them.

They make things that really compliment and extend the appearance of a Jeep better than most companies imo. They just pick great lines and angles. Compare their rear bumper to the RR rear bumper and you'll see what I mean.

Thank to all you helped. I loved all but some were a little pricey. What I am thinking is the Rock Crawler Side Armor by Smittybilt part number 76633 or the SRC Classic Side 76638. Both are the same price of 261.99 with free shipping. I have seen the SRC classic side and it looks sharp. The Rock Crawler I have not seen. Which one would you get. Or if there are any others around the price range throw them out there too.

I have the side armor and like them...my .02, the two should be pretty comparable
