Default smittybilt winch plate

so i've done alot of searching but i'm looking for hopefully 2 easy answers. does it mount completely on top of the bumper or does it sink in between the frame rails? and do i lose my front tow hooks?

Leeds, that is going to sit on top and I can't be sure you will loose your hooks. I do have some front mounted eyelet from my winch plate to attach d-rings to...let me know if you want them....their sitting in my garage. We would just have to work out shipping. They attach to the front bolts. So trimming of the stock bumper would be needed.

thanks and good looking out. i'll let you know. trying to justify the purchase since i can't go sunday. to bad they aren't on sale.
