Smittybilt X20 Install on Maximus 3 Winch Plates
 

Hey folks,
I installed the Maximus Winch plates and Smittybilt winch today. I froze my ass off doing it. Anyway, I cant screw down the wiring harness to the base of the winch because the the harness butts up against the grill. Does anyone know if there is play in the winch to move it forward towards the bumper?

Let us see how this comes out. I'm I am about to most likely do the dentical install with the X20 and Maximus 3 plate on the Hard Rock bumper. When you finish, would you post the pictures, especially of how you resolved the wiring harness and also the overall end product. I assume you have the 10th Anniversary Rubicon/Hard Rock bumper which is what I will be installing to.

There's no play in the winch itself, this is going to be all about the baseplate/bumper you are mounting to.
