Smittybilt XRC8 vs. Ramsey REP 8.5e

Smittybilt XRC8 vs. Ramsey REP 8.5e
I purchased the Ramsey 8.5e last weekend and installed it on my Mopar winch bumper. The plastic clutch handle broke off right away (it was cold out so I guess it was brittle). So I started second guessing my decision to get the Ramsey.
I order the Smittybilt XRC8 today (free shipping, so not too bad of a price).
Would you return the Ramsey and keep the Smittybilt or just keep the Ramsey installed and get rid of the Smittybilt? If I return the Ramsey I would save about $150.
The Smittybilt has more horsepower (4.1 vs. 2.5 I think), but what does that really translate to? I could not find pull speed info for the Smittybilt.
Any suggestions?
