Default Snorkel/CAI Hybrid

I currently have the Airaid CAI, but I'm thinking of buying the AEV snorkel. I know I have to put the stock air box back on to utilize the snorkel, but I was wondering if the intake tube that goes from the CAI filter and hooks to the mainfold would still be usable as far as location and dimensions? I'm still in Iraq so I can't exactly go pop the hood and measure

Also, from reading the AEV site, it sounds like my Bushwhacker flares may not work with the snorkel? Can anyone confirm that as well?

I had the same dilemma. I ended up removing the Airaid and re-installed the stock box with a K&N replacement filter. Seems to work pretty good. I do not notice much change over the Airaid, except for a reduction in the growling noise, which is fine with me.

If you use the AEV, forget the Bushwacker fender. It wont fit.
