Default Snorkelfiying The Jeep

I just got my River Raider Snorkel, Now I know i cant go balls to the wall yet in the deep water.

What are the other things that must be done so I dont ruin my baby. Also if you could post pics, if possible.

first you have to post some pics of your jeep

you should raise the breather tubes so you dont get water in the axles. here is link

dont forget the transfer case breather tube. and if the tranny is manual, dont forget never shift when the tranny is under water or you be towing your beloved Jeep home without a clutch

why cant you shift underwater?

bottom is open and will suck water/mud into the clutch assem, quiet a few members have killed their clutches that way. I think its mostly the mud that gets them not water

What about all the electrical stuff under the hood. Does that have to be waterproofed?
