I think I'm confused here... I don't see why adding a bumper that causes your suspension to sag by 1/2" to 1" would be a problem. It seems like if the tires rub under those conditions, then they would definitely rub under full flex anyway, and it's really your bump stops/backspacing that need to be looked at as the culprit (as opposed to the additional height of the coils and dampers, which is what the 2.5" in 2.5" lift kit refers to, I think).

Like I said, I'm probably confused, but I would appreciate someone straightening me out
