Default SOLID Diff cover question

I looked around, didnt find the exact answer I was looking for. Anyway.... bought 2 SOLID Diff covers for Dana 44's. I saw all the specs for filling the front and rear while having the OEM covers installed but was wondering if the amount changes for the SOLID covers.

For now I put in the recommended amount according to the stock covers. Just want to make sure I'm not short changing or overfilling the diffs.

Currently I've got about 2.3qts in the rear and 1.7qts in the front

Different covers with different shapes and fill hole locations can cause inadequate oil to the inner and outer bearings on the rear axle. You can't go by a set quantity. You have to make sure, even if you have to make a dipstick, the oil is close to the original level.
