Default Spacer Question

I installed spacers with my Rubi Rims and Rubi Stock Tires (BFG KMs) .... on a 2007 Jk X model... so here is the problem ... I bought the spacers off a guy that sold the tires to me... they are good put locktite on em... however about 2 months of having em I blew the axle seals.... same with the guy i bought em off of... WEll he is a fellow jeeper here in Florida.... we offered em as a test on a 2010 Rubi and guess what... Same thing.... blow axle seal about 2 months in... Do spacers really do that to a jeep?

How thick are your spacers? And who makes em? If they are the least bit off they will stress the heck out of your axels. Even a 32nd adds up to a lot after a while. I have had a set (spidertrax 1.5") on my lifted 2 door with rubi wheels and tires for about 8000 and no problems.

I ran a set of 1.5" RC's for 24000 miles without any issues.

I would pick up some spidertrax. I have had mine on with 33" KM2 tires for the last 17,000 miles, with no issues (knock on wood)

Yeah I was suspecting that it couldve been that problem... seeing as though people have driven with spidertrax all over on here.... I think i will get me a set of those spidertrax ones and a 2.5 inch coil lift.... and be done with it until I can afford a nice set of 35s lol.... broke Master's student with a poor Starbucks job lol
