I agree with most of you that naked is the way to go, once i get bigger meats
why cover it up?

When I was young and gave a darn about what the girlies thought, I would have agreed. I had a Trooper with pretty hot wheels and left the spare uncovered. When I finally had to use it, it was so dry rotted from UV damage and Armor All (no more of that junk!) that it was scary unsafe.

I have a cover on now, but once I rotate tires, I might cut the spare into the rotation - at least then every couple of months the resting solar target will change. Don't forget, tires maintain their suppleness from use!

No Cover, i rotate the spare with everything else. I always have on everything i own. (that had a full size spare anyhow)

my wheels look too good to cover them up!


however, i may toss a cover on until another one of the 33's i bought is in stock for the spare... right now i am rockin four 33's and one 30"... i am pimp!

No cover- why hide it?
...Like mentioned before- it will get rotated with all the other wheels.
