Default Spark plug and wires. Need Advice !!!

My 08 jk 2dr 3.8 auto needs new wires causing of a arcing issue from one of the wires. Car has 56k.

Since I am replacing wires I was looking at the screamin demon coil pack with live wires my only concern is that the spark gap is changed to .065 have anyone used them and have any issues? And is it even worth the high price?

otherwise what kind of plugs and wires is everyone running?

Only other mods is 3 inch catback exhaust, banks air intake, super chips programmer. Currently on 87 tune.

All I've ever used are the OEM plugs and wires at the owner's manual recommended change interval (96K miles for my 2007 which just turned 246K miles). The OEM wires have numbers that help with connecting each one to the correct plug, and you're certain they are cut to the exact length needed. A hint replacing the wires: The ones that run behind the engine are easier to replace if you somehow secure the new wire to the old one before pulling it through (duct tape, zip-tie, etc).

The screamin demon and all of that hype sound great until you realize that factory wires have a specific resistance. I'm overdue for wires but I have the correct wires and plugs ready to go in.

Another helpful hint- the Mopar wires are expensive. Denso is the provider of the Mopar wires. Denso wires are not terribly expensive, I think they were half the price. I bought my plugs and wires through Rock Auto as it was cheapest (shipped) through them, even over local stores with 20% discounts.

The demon coil works, but any advantage over OEM coil pack is questionable. Larger wires won't fit in the OEM guides, and the number one problem with aftermarket wires is rubbing and bad routing -- Recommend staying with the OEM size/length in the factory guides.

I'm currently using Denso plug wires and Denso Iridium plugs from RockAuto. The Denso wires even have the same OEM plastic split tubing on them like the Mopar's.
