It's no problem asking questions, but please don't post hot/clickable links to non-sponsor vendors or manufacturers. Anyway, my general rule of thumb is if it is a tool that I will use often I will get a quality tool. It it is something I will use once or twice I will consider going to Harbor Freight to get it. Their products are generally cheap so if I break it on the first use, it's usually no big deal.

I have seen a lot of references to Harbor Freight tools in various posts. I have never purchased from them. (I have a reasonable collection of Craftsman.) A few of the tools I need to buy will only be purchased for use a few times. (For example a 24" adjustable wrench. There is a huge difference in price between Craftsman and Harbor. I could buy quite a few Harbor replacements before approaching the price of a Craftsman.) I'm wondering if the tools hold up reasonably well.

(Since I am responding to a previous reply on this thread, I hope it's okay to ask that question here. If not, I'll look for it in the correct area when it is moved.)

Thanks,

Your question is fine to ask, we are a pretty forgiving group here

As for harbor freight, I generally only buy stuff that I wont use very often. If its something that I plan on using and keeping for a long time, I buy the better grade products. When it comes to tools that need some precision, don't bother with harbor freight. Because nothing they sell is precise. Its almost entirely cheap chinese made stuff. Now I know a lot of stuff is made in china, but there are high grade products from china.

So anyway, great if you need something only a few times. But when it comes to wrenches and such (especially torque wrenches) spend the extra few bucks for a good product.
