Question Speed Bump

Need help choosing bumps....Pros/Cons of Teraflex Speed Bumps or Sumo Springs???...I can get the Teraflex kit for $565 ...The Metal cloak shipping puts the Sumo/MC bump package at $526...The front Tera stops do require the front jounce tower to be cut which, looks to be the only downside to them.

You are looking to pay that much for bump stops? WOW. I think the Metal Cloak also come as a pair but is still kinda crazy for what you get. The teraflex is a piece of foam in a can. I would do one of two things. spend a bit more and get real air bumps or use that money to set up your suspension so you don't need the bumps. What are you doing with your jeep?

If you are going to spend that much on bump stops, check out the Icon Vehicle Dynamics. Not only are they very nice, but they are truly hydraulic, and not just foam.

I use it as a daily driver and a work vehicle...work entails very rough terrain(pipeline ROW)..large ditches, mudholes, etc...the reason I just upgraded shocks and springs was that this past year was rough on the Jeep...pulled the rear shock out it's mount, busted the two front shocks, bent passenger side sway link. It was riding pretty rough by the end of the work season. Hoping to mitigate any problems now.

You don't need the type of bump stops you are looking at. The ones that come on the jeep should be fine. You need the solid pads you add to the axle side that raises the perch up a bit.
