They do look like front coils. Take a pic of the bottom of the rear coils.

If those are in fact front coils mounted in the rear, well that could be your problem right there.

they are rear springs, a highly reputable shop installed them and they are shorter than the fronts.

Not doubting that your shop is reputable or not. Isn't it possible they COULD be front springs just shorter ones? You asked for help so we are giving you possible answers.

Here's my front springs:

Here are my rears for comparison. Just saying that your rears look like fronts:

Can you show us your shots of your lower mounts?

Some companies sell a slimmer rear coil. My Trail Master coils are that way.

Front coils from left to right - stock, Teraflex, Trail Master

the springs on my jeep are aev, they are skinnier. i will post some lower pics tomorrow. The only thing i can think of at this point is that there is something wrong with the axle not being centered or the control arms or something, i just dont know what.

My RC rear springs are kind of narrow as well. If ur shocks are too long, it would cause ur coil to become unseated and it wouldnt sit right. try dropping ur suspension all the way with everything hooked up and see if ur coils are loose. If so, get longer coils, shorter shocks or limiting straps. Another fix might be to go with teraflex rear coil spacer one inch. They sit up there nicer then cheap spacers. I just switched to them in the rear and ditched my cheap RC .75 spacer and it sits up there much more secure.

if they are that reputable, they should be able to fix this for you. either is a POS lift kit, they are doing something wrong, or your jeep is damaged some how. shouldnt be hard for them to figure out. wouldnt a reputable shop have told you to buy matching shocks and coils, or coil retainers, wedges, whatever it is you need to fix it?

Thanks for the examples of the skinnier rear coils. So I think we are back to, as mentioned three times now, the fix being a correction wedge and spring retainers. This is how I fixed my bow in my rear coils and it rides great now. You have three options for correction, poly wedges (Rock Krawler, 25$), bolt-on (JKS, 125$) and weld on's (65$?). All of these will correct the angle of the lower perches to straighten your springs back to vertical. And I would add a spring retainer like the JKS (about 30$) to keep your coil seated.
