Spyntec hub conversion??

Does installing this kit add additional width to the front axle? As in pushing the tires out farther?

i'm pretty sure that it does and, being that the bolt pattern for it is a 5x5.5, you will need to run a 1" adapter in the rear to convert it's bolt pattern and allow you to make it's width even with the front.

Yes it does and like eddie said you need to run spacers or as dayatrack told me a 60

LOL!! yeah, a 60 in the rear would definitely work too :D

Well guys this kit is going on a PR44 with RCV axle shafts. The RCV guys are making me a custom outer shaft to work with the kit and their cv joint. Oh and the rear is getting a 35 spline ARB and alloy shafts with the 5x5.5 bolt pattern

I almost went the same way on mine. I elected to not run the rcv shafts as the shop in town here is always pushing the red covers back on. I still went with 35 spline but differnt shafts. I also was going to do the free spin lit but decided to wait til I get my 60. There is a spacer out there to fix your issue.

No, track remains the same. As noted you'll have to convert to 5x5.5" bolt pattern wheels. If your rear shafts are stock you can us an adapter, which will increase your track, but the best solution is to use this as the time to swap in chromoly rear shafts with dual bolt pattern flanges. I've run these hubs for about 30k miles now and love 'em. If you have the extra change, you can use Yukon hubs, too. Slick!

Have you noted an mpg difference between having the hubs locked and unlocked while in 2wd?

Have you noted if the front drive shaft rotates with the hubs unlocked while in 2wd, (from t-case internal friction)?

(Seems like I have asked you about this in the past, but your posting history doesn't support that.)
