Default steering "pop" on lifted 2012 jk

I helped a buddy put a lift on his 12 jk Sahara back in November. Now he has a pop when he turns passenger and then again as he goes back to center. I checked for him today and can't find it any ideas?

I had mine pop when turning and would leave the steering wheel off center. Ended up being a lose bolt on the track bar.

did you try laying or sitting outside the jeep as he is turing. The only thing I can think of are the trac bar bolts or something that moves while he turns, maybe the steering stabilizer is hitting something as he turns.

Mine was doing the same thing. Found out it was my track bar. I don't like the design of the Rancho track bar. When it moves the bolt is hitting the frame. Going to replace it with the HD teraflex track bar.
