Default Steering wheel wobble

Hey guys I have a quick question. When I hit a bump or small pothole while driving my steering wheel gives a small wobble. Normal or something I should be concerned about?

It sounds like your experiencing a little bit of bump steer. A small amount of bump steer with your 2.5" lift wouldn't be unheard of. Assuming your front end alignment is good, your suspension bolts are all torqued down, and driveability is acceptable you should be good to go. I didn't have to deal with bump steer problems until I was at a 4" lift.

Bump steer is caused by the changes in steering geometry as the vehicle is lifted. There are various solutions to solve it that correct that geometry, but I don't think any are really suitable for just 2.5" of lift. To be honest, I don't think that this is very common at 2.5 inches.

Check the alignment at the link provided above--pay particular attention to caster--but there's not much you can do about it unless you install front adjustable lower control arms (best practrice--definitely don't do camber bolts!). Also make certain your TF steering stabilizer hasn't failed (possibly from being hit on a rock).

Correct, but you'll need to get the slots that they cut for the cambolts welded up to make holes, washers work.

It would be better not to use cam bolts, better change to adjustable control arms, at least front lowers to correct your caster.
