Interesting read from one of the tire brands many of us use. OE tire pressure is only applicable to the OE tire size with that specific load rating for the vehicles stock weight.

When changing tire sizes, or when going to the same tire size with a different load rating, the PSI should be adjusted accordingly.

Take a look at the above link and read the .pdf that can be found via the link on Toyo's site. May change some of your perspectives as to what the "right" pressure really is.
