Same here, they say I wouldn't be able to get updates because I have limited bandwidth with Hughesnet Satellite, but when I asked what bandwidth they required, I fell well within the requirements.

I could just plug it into the JK, but why not download updates first?? I've PM'ed Scott for more details, so far no word yet. I'll give it this week then its going! Hopefully, I can get my money back!

Got mine yesterday, downloaded all updates, and installed on Jeep. I didn't have any problems other than after I created my user account I couldn't log on. It seems that I had a problem with capital letters. When I created the user account I used cap letters. When I tried to log on it wouldn't recognize me until I used all lower case . It also wouldn't recognize the flashpaq unless I had it plugged into the computer using the usb cable BEFORE I opened the superchips update program.

Hopefully will be driving it later today to see how the 91 octane programs compares to stock.

Default I can't log on for updates

I just got an SC a couple weeks ago and I havent been able to log on for updates and I have tried to get the password reset and recieved no response. I contacted scott and got the same message about feb 11 he copied and pasted on here.
I was however able to install a tune and change my tire height. I am happy with the performance and mileage boost my JK got from that, but I am very anxious to be able to LOGIN and utilize the updates...

OK guys, forgive my ignorance on the subject. I have the superchip, bought it about a year ago. I plugged it in, made the adjustments for gears and tires and then put it away. Am I supposed to be downloading updates?????

I'm replying to this tread hoping superchips reads it and can fix it, stop out sourcing the ITs, or what ever they have to do or even modify there system to become more trouble free.

I have had the same issues, can't log on, can't download updates and the copy and paste replys when trying to resolve issuses. I love my superchips, but the issues are very close to out weighting the benefits.

I have the tuning installed, hate trying to find out if there aqre updates I might need.

Just hoping enought noise gets the wheel greased.

For those of us that still go to the dealer for work, we need to remove our tunes and go back to stock as a dealer computer flash will change the "stock" settings. If you don't remove the tune, your superchips will be useless because it will have your old stock settings on file which won't match what youhave after the dealer flash.

In most cases for me, I have never needed to "update" my tuner after I had service work done as the computer flashes really didn't change anything. However, after my computer was flashed to add the overheating dummy light, my Superchips did not recognize my computer configuration and I was required to update my tuner using the software. After that, it worked fine.

So, in summary, if you do all of your own work and never have the dealer flash you computer, Superchips is basically a tune it once and leave it unless you want to play around with other tunes. If you have the dealer do work on your Jeep, at some point you will need to update the tuner.

I just put mine back to stock since I have to go the dealer next week. Is there a way you can tell if everything is back to stock? After I put it back to stock, the flashpaq still showed my jeep info on the screen. I thought the flashpaq would be unlocked or showed it was wasn't locked to a particular vehicle.
Just want to make sure it everything goes ok after I'm done with the dealer and I can hook the flashpaq back up the JK with no problems

Only way I know its fully stock is when I plug it back into my Jeep and it no longer says "linked to vehicle". If you've programmed advanced functions like TPMS shut off, you have to remove those separately from the performance tune. When removing those functions, select stock settings to set it back. I had to remove my perf tune and tpms shut off to get my program "de-linked".
