Shift points are way better with the automatic, and there's noticeably more power.

I also found with the Superchips better throttle response and pick up, but if you add a CAI and cat-back better flow exhaust - even better

Wow that sucks. Mine always went away with 89 on the 87. I now run 91 on the towing tune and prefer it.

Yeah it does suck...it was running great until I did an upgrade about 7 weeks ago and this is when it started the ping/knock. Hoping it will get resolved in the next few days Superchips has been good about helping me out...

I am running the 87 Tune on my 2010 Mountain automatic, and I have no ping/knock detected on 87 octane, and I am very familiar with the sound. However, all this talk about it has me paranoid none the less.

I had to go to the dealer the other day so I returned it to stock and, WOW! How you forget! I used to run the 87 tune but never got a fix from Superchip so I have been running the tow tune and filling with 89 oct. with no issues and getting 17 to 18 mpg. I have an auto and runnin 35's

I've been running the 93 tune for almost 10 months. Out of curiosity I tried the 91, tow and 87 tune. Didn't get more than 2 miles down the road in those tunes before I pulled over and switched back to the 93. Night and day difference.
