I was being sarcastic. I felt like I was doing something wrong by starting different forum threads that were similar to stimulate different opinions on decisions that I (& i am sure some others) r dealing with.

I did it to have different points of view and take the general consensus on a topic to aid me on the decision.

Fair enough, i guess. I just don't see the point of starting multiple threads asking the exact same questions. The answers aren't going to change, no matter how many times you keep starting new ones to ask.

I am still learning about jeeps and forums. I thought I would pose the same question in a different form when people stopped answering a thread to get more replies on a topic. I do appreciate ur help though and the sarcasm was all in good fun and no ill intent

Almost all aftermarket D30 and D44 gears are made by the same mfgr, despite what is written on the box. The exceptions are a couple of D30 ratios made by Richmond gear and a 4.88 ratio D44 made by U.S. Gear. These are the only U.S. built gears available. All of the other options are made overseas by one company and distributed to different gear shops around the U.S.
