Question Swaybar disconnects and Leveling kit?

So here is the delema. I want to buy a set of quick disconnects on my stock 08 2dr X for obvious reasons, traction. But I also want to put some spring spacers in the front to get rid of the factory rake and give a little more clearance. Don't really have the funds or the need for a lift. Does anyone know if I can run a leveling kit and disconnect the swaybar with out loosing my spacers? Also, on a similar note, would I need long travel shocks in the front if im going to disconnect?

Your spacers and shocks will be fine. Get your disco's and go have fun. When you decide to "take it to another level" you'll have some research to do.

Word.

Long travel shocks aren't necessary.

The JKS Quicker Disconnects look nice. I haven't run them, myself, but I do have several other JKS products and am very pleased with the quality. That quality does come at a price though.

I'm sure if you hit up a site vendor you can get a better deal than what JKS sells them for.

I have the JKS quicker disconnects on my 2010 2 door. I have had them for about 4 months and love them. If you don't have a lift then stock shocks are good. Make sure you get the ones that disconnect at the joint instead in the middle of the discos. The pin can wear out and cause problems later. Easy to install also.

One more thing.....once you have them on and want to disconnect them, get some plastic ties and disconnect the bottom (not the top) and then tie them up so they dont get banged around while wheeling.

Have fun!

I just got the teraflex leveling kit and quick disconnects. I paid $220 for both. Might be something for you to look into if your wanting to lift but want to do it cheap.
