Swagoffroad claims it can hold 400lbs. While I don't want to put it through a torture test to find out, I'm inclined to agree. My girlfriend and I can both sit it with no problems... though we both only total about 260lbs. The kit requires no welding, but my plan is to get all the contact points welded for added strength down the road.

It looks great but I hate the idea of having the spare in the back. Takes up too much room imo

Sorry to hijack. Where can I find that jeep cover that bolts onto where oem tire carrier was? I only know of the poison spider tramp stamp.

x2. Pretty much any carrier that attaches to the bumper instead of the tailgate will work. I'm looking to do a custom swing down tire carrier instead of a swing away.

Agreed, it's kinda pricy, but it's pretty solid and all stainless steel. I think it's worth it overall.

Shoot me a pm when you get it and I'll give you a couple tips to save you a lot of stress!

I've got the SWAG Off-Road kit and I like it a lot. It made quite a difference with my hinge rattling problem. I use the OR-FAB tire carrier and don't have any issues. I find it handy to stand on when putting the straps on my bikini top.
It comes unfinished, so you have to put whatever finish you prefer on it. I used rattle-can bedliner, and it matches the rest of my OR-FAB stuff perfectly.

Subscribed! Have been looking for something like this for a while. Already have a tire carrier so no hassles there.
Only problem is the mods list. Never ends! My friends were right when they told me to prepare my pockets.
