Why hasn't anyone suggested a drop down tailgate?
Swag off road has a relatively cheap stock tailgate conversion.
Poison Spyder has a replacement aluminum drop down.
And in my opinion, best of all is the rokmen aluminum tailgate with storage.
No need for a table when you can turn your whole tailgate into a table.

Remembering now...I emailed rokmen asking if they would ever be producing a JK version but I never got a reply.

I have to carry my 22" roller bag in the trunk area of my 2 door so I don't have any room to spare. I did pick up one of these tables on clearance at REI for $50 though.
