Default Tera flex lift on 2012 JK

Has anyone recently installed a Teraflex 2.5" lift on a 2012 2 door? Is there any modifications to the exhaust or driveline needed?

If has as much flex as a rock krawler 2.5 max flex you will need a front shaft.

I have an 08 jku with a 3.5 TF lift running 34.5 tires. And I haven't had an issue with it at all. My guess is that your are not going to do much off roading so 2.5 and 33 inch tires seem like a fine increase in ground clearance

Good to hear. The only offroading will be on the ranch hunting.

you will need the Teraflex exhaust spacers or something similar or you will tear your front driveshaft boot on the exhaust. Oher then that you should be good

fyi the person who said he had no problems wasn't driving a 2012... the 2012 is much different b/c the transfer case sits at a different angle than the pre-2012's and there is an exhaust cross over thats unique to the 2012.

As said above you could probably get away with just the exhaust spacers if you don't 4x4 much and never diconnect your sway bars, but if you want to solve the problem for good you should get a new front driveshaft...

What do you mean by not 4X4 much? I won't disconnect the track bar but I will use the 4 wheel drive to get around the hills.
