Default TEraflex 2.5 bb HELP!

I just recieved my lift W/ shock extentions and im trying to figure out the drop bracket.( not for brake line)
step #13 of the supplied directions states "Use the supplied template to mark and drill a 3/8 hole in the factory track bar bracket as shown in the photo".
step #14 " Install the new drop bracket placing the spacer inside so the new bracket is not crushed when mounting bolt is tightned.
step #15 Reinstall the rear trackbar using original hardware. the rear instulation is now complete".
I have a printed template stapled to directions.

I just didnt see anything about this in the write-up section's detailed directions of the install.
Mabye ill understand this once its disasembled but I would like a better understanding before I start drilling holes.
Does anyone have a pic of where this bracket goes?

I believe that it goes on the upper front trackbar bracket. Most people just use an adjustable trackbar instead of going this route, thus the reason why it is not on most write ups. This route is fine, go with it.

Just on the inside of the passenger side rear tire. Your just lowering the mounting location of the cross bar. Not really need but they give it to you. I installed mine.

this is correct. USE it! people on this forum have had "DW" solved by simply adding this bracket to older TF kits. its easy to do and worth the time.

i think you are confusing the "front" track bar drop bracket and brace that TF sells with this simple "rear" drop bracket. DW is a front end problem and installing a rear drop bracket will not address DW - just help recenter your axle after installing a lift.

yah, i know its not true DW, thats why i used the quotations. i was just saying that people said they have DW and the added the rear bracket. i realize that DW has become a generic, over-used term around here, again, hence the quotation marks.

I just ordered the exact same drop bracket... The BDS drop bracket is essentially the same and here is a right up with pictures for install ...

yeah, it definitely has become over used and more times than not, incorrectly. still, in spite of what people have said, i can assure you that a rear axle that is a tad off center WILL NOT cause any vibration, shimmy or wobble and installing a relocation bracket will not fix any of those problems.

dually noted and thanks for the clarification. with how grossly overused the term is, its hard to keep track of things.
