Default Teraflex BB 2.5 Question

I just put at lift on my JK last Tues, it seemed to go on fine, I also put the shocks on that came with it. Yesterday, I noticed a noise, and I can't tell where it's coming from, sounds like a pop/crack with the window down, and a clunk with the window up. I notice the noise when I'm going slow or even up to about 50mph only when I hit a bump. I really noticed it a lot tonight, can't tell if it's actually getting worse or if I'm just listening more for it now.

Could I have over-torqued or under-torqued my shocks or sway bars? Or could it be the springs and the spacers? I put the springs back in the way they came out.

Any other ideas what it could be? I'd appreciate any advice or tips. Thanks.

I'm not completely familiar with the lift yet (I will be tomorrow...)-- but the sound you describe sounds like the one I experienced when I didn't tighten my swaybar bolt well enough. Jeephrog had the same thing happen after he manually discoed. I'm sure it could be something else, but I'd definitely check your swaybar links.

Be sure to check the upper swaybar bolts also. I found that mine were loose, and causing a ticking/clanking sound. I'm pretty sure I didn't touch the tops durring the install and believe they came like that from the factory.

I have the torqe specs somewhere, I didn't use my torque wrench on those, I know that was stooopid , but i was in a hurry. I did torque my track bar to spec, or at least as close as I could get it in a contorted position, I'm pretty sure I got it all the way. But the sway bars may not be right. I'll check them in the morning. Can they be over-torqued do you know? Thanks.

over tightning shouldn't make any sounds. something is loose for sure. Just recheck everything to be safe, also make sure everything is lined up, like spacer, pad, coil. and also make sure bumpstop extensions are in tight and not loose and maybe hitting the coils. Just double check everything, and even check things you didn't touch just to make sure. Good luck.
