LOL! I burned the ever-loving-sh*t out of my finger on a halogen worklight once, feeling around for a wrench over my shoulder. I'm scared to death of those things, now.

When we installed my kit we found the same issue. We were extremely careful with our measurements and marked everything out, but found the same problem with the holes not being right on. I welded my bracket, and frankly feel more secure with it that way than just a bolt and nut.

This past week I installed the same 2.5 in. teraflex spring lift on my 2010 unlimited. Everything went smooth except the rear trackbar bracket. I pre-fit the bracket and checked the template that came with the kit to see if it would line up prior to drilling the hole and found that it was way off. I found that it was easier to just place the big bolt for the track bar through the bracket so that it is lined up. Then scribe a line across the bottom of the supplied lift bracket onto the original bracket for a reference point to measure up from. Take the measurement of the lift bracket from the bottom to the center of the small hole. Now transfer that measurement using the scribed line as the point to measure from and drill the hole. It was dead on.

This is weird...for my 08 it was very easy to mount the bracket. I just held the template on the frame mount and marked it with a punch and drilled it. The Tera bracket went right up in the frame bracket and the whole lined up fine. I will have to look at my buddies 2011 and see if it different...

I forgot to take pics when I had the wheels back off this morning to change the rear swaybar links...the stock wheels didn't like how I had them installed the first time. But I'm getting wheels and tires installed tomorrow and will try to get back there to get some pics while they have the wheels off. I'm thinking about just going with an adjustable trackbar from you guys now, anyway. (I see what your plan was!) No, seriously, you guys should be hearing from me in a few days or so to figure out how to proceed. I'm starting a new job on Wednesday and running around trying to get a lot of errands run before then so I'm kind of busy at the moment. (Which is why I was a little hot thinking my Jeep was undriveable but we're cool, now. )
