Teraflex control arms
Are you lifted? If so how much? You'll have to find out what legnth to run. The TF arms usually come with a chart to tell you the length (depending on how much lift you have of coarse). Raise jeep off the ground (by lifting on frame). Change out one arm at a time. Remove the arm, install the new arm on the frame side first and then the axle side. The bolt more than likely won't line up on the axle end when you do this. Use a jack to lift on the axle at this point. You can jack on the rear of the "pumkin" or front of the "pumpkin" to help you line up the bolt hole. Many people get the frame side in first and then fight like hell to get the axle end to line up. I've seen guys use pry bars, ratchet straps, etc. By just jacking on the differential just a little bit (usually on the pinion side) it lines the bolt up perfectly. Easy.

If u have a lift under 2.5" you can measure them the same a stock length and replace one at a time. A lift over that use the length in the instructions. I did not have to adjust for castor with my 2.5 TF lift. It road fine after the install.
Why bother with changing out the arms if the length remains the same as stock?
Most aftermarket arms are beefier / solid or have thicker DOM tubing rather than the stock hollow arms which allow them to take more abuse. Some of them have rebuildable joints, have Johnny joint or something similar which allows more flex/articulation due to more misalignment....

I'm running 2.5 inch teraflex coil lift. With 18s and 33 toyo open country mt. I want to go with the Teraflex adjustable front lowers. Don't want to pay a shop to install if I don't have to.
