Is the Teraflex 4838250 Accessory Mount for the HD carrier different than the TF 4838200 HD HINGED CARRIER ACCESSORY MOUNT? What’s the difference? Just a newer style? I’m really only interested in that it mounts a rotopax container and it has a cb mount. Will the newer style do what I want? (Yes, I have the TF HD carrier and i love it). Thanks all

 

The Teraflex 4838250 is called the "Alpha Hi Lift Mount" and was introduced as a redesign to the original to allow for various models of the hi lift jack (extreme, 60inch, etc) and I assume to add overall stability aesthetics, usability, etc. From my research the new design does not accept rotopax on its own, but I could be wrong here. It does have a cb mount.

 

You are right, thank you. The old style accepted a Rotopax mount that went on to the old design. Same for this new design I've seen. Just wanted to confirm that this new design is based on the old design.
