Terraflex leveling kit
Just installed it and it leveled out my '14 perfectly.
Question: I did not reinstall the rear spring isolators over the spacers, I was afraid it would raise the back end too much. Spring seems to ride fine on the new rear spacer, any issues with leaving it that way? I emailed the terraflex guys, but no reply. |
I'm not 100% sure, but I would've put'm back in there. Not sure exactly why or what damage it could cause, but most lift instructions say to reinstall.
|
They say reinstall to keep noise down and get the correct final lift height.
If you're happy with it then stick with it. |
The spring seemed to "nest" as well on the spacer as it did on the isolator. The rear spacer has this long "snout" on it that extends deep inside the spring. It didn't seem like a safety issue, but I'm a newbie to Jeeps.
|
The "snout" is a coil spring retainer.

You might get some rattle without the isolator...it is made of a softer material than the TF pucks. It also helps locate the spring.

Thanks for the help guys. I think I'm going to drive it awhile and see if I get any noise or movement in the spring. I marked the spring's position on the spacer.
Thanks again!! |
