Thoughts on OR-Fab Bumpers.
Odd? My stinger is way heavier then stock, and I saw a fair sag. 1/2 inch or so. The winch sagged me farther.
It's gonna happen when you add weight onto the jk in any way shape or form. No way does a steel bumper weigh as little as the plastic crap from the factory.

I'm running the rock slider rear, it's one of the few rear tube bumpers on the market. I got it for the weight savings over a plate steel bumper and the fact that I have tubular sliders and front bumper on my rig.
The packaging of the orfab products is second to none, everything was in perfect condtion when I got it. Not suprising when everything is encased in expanding foam
It's very durable. Aftyer this first pic was taken my jeep dropped into a 3' hole right onto a rock on the right corner piece of the bumper, just lost some powdercoat and scatched the tube...that was it.

I have since added a swingout tire carrier to the bumper, took a little custom work but works flawlessly:

I only have one complaint about the bumper and that's with the powdercoat, it's currently flaking off the entire bumper and I've only had it for a year. We've had a bad winter here in CT so I blame the excessive use of roadsalt for this, but still am kind of dissapointed. Not a big deal though, all my armor is gonna get a fesh coat of matte black spraypaint once it warms up

Thanks for the pics, thats good to know it can take a hit and not bend
More than likely, I went the gloss black route to match the powdercoat that came on my sliders and front bumper. I'm very confident in the overall durability of this bumper, I've hit it on a number of other occasions and it's holding up like a champ.
I have Or-Fab front and rear bumpers on my my TJ, very happy with them! Plus, they are all about hardcore crawling, anc Steve is one of the most down to earth guys you will ever meet. Get it, you won't be sorry
Just installed the crawler rear yesterday. The bumper itself is very stout. Although, it was a very snug fit to get on the frame. I got it on but it was a struggle. Other than that no complaints.
Edit: snug as in 1-3 cm short, not wide enough to fit on the frame without some fab work

A little update on the rock crawler bumper I received from OR Fab. The bumper was just a tad short but I could still get it installed with some shade tree mechanics. Today, the president of OR Fab called me on my cell to make sure everything was ok and for me to explain the exact problem to ensure this never happens again. All I can say is WOW. It's one thing for a rep to call etc. but the president!! Awesome customer service, shows there dedication in making a quality product and I definitely will be doing more business with or fab despite a minor fitment hiccup that I am sure will be fixed promptly on their part.
Thanks again to or fab for the service.
