Tie rod upgrade
Guys I need your help! I ran Holcomb this past Saturday, slipped off a rock and landed on my steering stabilizer and tie rod. Ouch! The end result is a badly bend steering stabilizer shock, strangely steel working and a slight bent on my tie rod.
I started researching different option for upgrades, and that is where I am lost. What to do what to do? Should I go with Currie, Teraflex or perhaps Synergy?
Can anyone give me a sense of direction, please? I understand the name brand price difference, but are they worth the extra $300-$400 versus other non no popular brands.
DOM tubing is manly used for rock sliders, where I can see the importance of a very strong impacts. Chromoly tubing is it just as strong?
I can buy a replacement/upgrade tie rod from 4 wheel parts for $164.00.Do you guys think that is just as good?
I know too many questions, but hopefully you can see as why I am so confused in the matter.
Important is that my JKU is a DD and I am currently running 35's with 3.5" lift
Thank you for all the help. Hopefully others can benefit from all of this.

Synergy is probably the most popular for front end components.

Synergy and TeraFlex are two well made products (both cheomoly). Sure you can build it yourself out of DOM but factor in time and a lesser warranty/support if issues arise.
We offer forum discounts on both, blast me a PM or call any time if you have questions or would like pricing.

Ive bent two DOM tie rods. No problems since I switched to Synergy. Chromoly is gonna be stronger than DOM. For the steering stabilizer I would just go back stock and relocate it if you havent already.

Dom and chromoly will depend on wall thickness. Normally chromoly is a stronger metal. If your bending tie rods look at high steer possibly? Ive bent 1.5x1/4 wall my first trip out. Haven't bent my 1.75x 1/4 yet, but the dom on a d44 may need a bend to fit and clear dif.
